European wood aluminum windows are notorious for being known as “warm windows” during the cold winter months. Our Wood Aluminum windows are no different. Insulative values ranging from R-value 5 up to R-value 8 (inversely U-value 2 to U-value 0.125). Glo’s Wood Aluminum “warm windows” are available in 3 different Series; Wood Aluminum W5, Wood Aluminum W7, and Passive House PW.
Aside from a warm range of thermal performance these windows also boast a myriad of design choices. We offer 5 different wood species; clear pine, finger jointed pine, oak, meranti, and larch. Each species of wood ships factory finished, so all you need to do is install them. There are 9 different wood stains available, created to highlight the true beauty of the wood.
If you prefer a more modern look, the interior wood can also be painted. Our 300 RAL powder-coated colors are pre-finished in the factory and are vibrant and diverse.

The beauty of Wood Aluminum windows is the use of dual materials, wood on the interior and aluminum cladding on the exterior. The exterior aluminum cladding, much like the interior, is available in one of our 14 Standard Cladding Colors (shown below). If a more custom look is desired our Premium Cladding Colors are available in one of the 300 colors (shown above).
