Montana Retrofit Windows

The Goodworks Venture headquarters sought energy efficient retrofit windows to upgrade their rear office. Located in downtown Missoula, Montana the new-to-them office building reflects their collaborative culture with a large open front office. This enables the team to rearrange the space to fit the needs of their current clients and projects. However, most of the day to day work is accomplished in the rear private offices.

Although the offices are enclosed they still wanted the open feel of the foyer to be carried throughout. A 7.5’ retrofit fixed window was installed in a large rear office to achieve the openness desired. The adjacent tilt turn windows provide needed ventilation. Two-tone windows were selected with black exterior and white interior. The dark toned brick building achieved a harmonious look with the powder-coated black finish of the windows. The interior white aluminum is contemporary in nature, adding the perfect touch of contrast to the industrial feel.

The Glo A5 double pane windows were selected for their price conscious thermal performance. The thermally-broken aluminum retrofit windows provide multiple air seals, low iron glass, a continuous thermal break and a slim frame profile. The clean form is a high-functioning new element to the beautiful industrial business space.
